OUR STORY
The Scotland Island Rural Fire Brigade was formed in 1955 and now provides the Scotland Island and the surrounding offshore community with support during a wide range of emergencies including fires, medical emergencies and storms.
The Brigade is the primary fire fighting service for the community responding to bushfires, structure fires and boat fires.
The Brigade has a Community First Responder team that works closely with NSW Ambulance to provide a first response capability for medical emergencies.
The Brigade also works closely with NSW SES to assist the community during storm events.
