HOW TO MAKE A DONATION
You can make a donation to the Scotland Island Rural Fire Brigade through a facility provided by the Rural Fire Service.
Our Brigade has Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Taxation Office so we can issue you with a tax deductible receipt. Just make sure you request a receipt when you make your donation.

WHY WE NEED DONATIONS & WHAT WE USE THEM FOR
All donations to our Brigade go straight back into providing emergency services and support to our local community.
The Brigade incurs a variety of expenses. Most of the large capital and running costs of the Brigade are met by the Rural Fire Service and government. Smaller operating and incidental costs and some equipment costs are paid for by the Brigade using donations or fundraising.
In the past, we’ve used donated funds for projects such as installing stainless steel Community Fire Unit fire fighting boxes at various points around the island and upgrading the catering and kitchen facilities at our station.
