CFU Participation - District Marine Exercise 1 May 2016

  • 01 May 2016
  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Cargo Wharf Scotland Island

Registration is closed

On Sunday 1st May 2016 the Warringah-Pittwater District are holding a marine based training exercise.

The Scotland Island Brigade is supporting the day in a number of ways, including running a simulated "spotfire" exercise at Cargo Wharf.

In this exercise crews from around the district will have to come to Cargo Wharf and setup pumps and hoses to extinguish a fire about 50m above Cargo Wharf.  After extinguishing the fire the crew will then brief the CFU to protect a nearby house.

This where we need your help.  We need a number of CFU members to help out at the exercise during the day.  If you have the whole day available (9am - 4pm) that would be fantastic.  If you dont have the whole day available but you can spare a couple of hours that would also be fantastic - just let me know what time so we can schedule people on over the whole day.

This is a great opportunity to meet crews from around the district and participate in some excellent and very realistic training.  Im sure you will find it enjoyable and rewarding.

If you have any questions please contact Annette Ritchie (CFU Leader) on 0410 007 501 or Peter Lalor at
