Dear Colleagues,

RFI course is running again on 15th May at RFS HQ Lidcombe.

The weekend covers the collection of assessment evidence and on Sunday May 15th the RFI participants will be assessed.

To assist in the assessment it would be advantageous for us to have 3 crews of min. 4 members in either a Cat 1, Pumper or Cat 7 attend HQ for 4.5 hours (0900 – 1330) to act as BF assessment candidates. This would enable the RFI trainees to focus on the task of practicing to collect assessment evidence, without themselves needing to role play the part of a trainee on a truck.

The tasks that your crews would undertake include, hose deployment, shipping standpipes, getting ladders to work, operating radios etc.

Crew members only need to be min. BF qualified.

We will supply them with morning tea and lunch.

The RFI participants (some of whom are from our district) would also be most thankful.

If you can assist, please let me know ASAP
